Heel Belgium is a subsidiary of Biologische Heilmittel Heel GmbH, established in 1936. With its headquarters in Baden-Baden (Germany), Heel is active in over 50 countries worldwide. Heel manufactures more than 400 different medicines in facilities in Germany (Baden-Baden) and in Belgium (Drongen).


Heel Belgium was founded in 1980 and has been located in Drongen, near Ghent, since 2003. Within its offices, Heel has a brand-new manufacturing facility for medicines and food supplements varying from homeopathy, over complex homeopathy to medicines with bioregulatory effects. Heel received the GMP certificate in 1996 and was the first homeopathic company in Belgium to do so.

Strict following of standards and regulations

You can trust Heel to comply strictly with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations. Heel follows the standards established by the German Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia (HAB) and the European Pharmacopoeia (Ph.Eur.). National laws and provisions are respected in addition to the EU regulations.

At your request, Heel can also manufacture according to the standards of other countries or regions, e.g. the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States (HPUS), the French Pharmacopoeia (Ph.F.)… At the moment, we work for clients from, among others, The Netherlands, Italy, Norway, South Africa, France, Ireland and the UK.
